About Me

M. Denise Fitzgerald, Licensed Massage Therapist, graduated from Lake Tech Center in 2007.  She had the privilege of working with and for her anatomy teacher, Shamaya Chah, after being licensed, for 10 years. It was during this time she found her passion for specialized medical massage. 

Living in Florida since 1992, Denise relocated with her husband and daughter from New England. She has been living in Mount Dora/Eustis since 2002.  Family tragedy made the decision to make a career change and easy one. Choosing a local school was certainly meant to be. A nationally accredited instructor isn’t available at every school. Denise had the opportunity to become a teacher assistant for Shamaya when holding continuing education classes for massage therapists. 

Denise went solo, moving her treatment office to Bay Street Wellness in 2017. In addition to medical treatments, other services offered include relaxation massage, heated Himalayan Salt Stone massage, Raindrop Technique, an essential oil treatment and Reiki, a Japanese healing energy treatment. 

Denise and her husband enjoy rescuing Greyhounds, camping in their motor Home and spending time at Disney Parks.
